Herne Bay for Business

Local Business Support Programme

When we heard that Sainsbury’s was planning to open a store in Herne Bay, we created a Business Support Programme to give advice to local entrepreneurs about how to differentiate their local business to gain and retain customers.

You may have seen in the news that Sainsbury’s have now cancelled their plans, but the good news is we are still providing workshops, 1-2-1 advice sessions, marketing expertise, a destination marketing plan and small grants to Herne Bay business owners.

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed:

The National Centre for Micro Business to deliver specialist retail business support through 1-2-1 advice sessions with local traders;

Julie Waller of JPW Business Solutions as our town centre retail expert delivering group seminars and workshops; and

SEK Group to deliver workshops on Business Planning for Access to Finance, Human Resources and Employment and Franchising.

If you would like to take advantage of the free business support and enhance your business operations, delivery and customer experience then please contact us or call 01227 862 262

The programme is part of a wider initiative to create an exciting new campaign to capture Herne Bay’s unique commercial, event and tourism offering and ensure it is firmly on the map as a great UK destination for day trips, holidays, home buyers and new businesses.
